This 60-Day Rail Trip Is a Round-the-World Journey Aboard 8 Luxury Trains

These journeys will operate on luxury train lines such as Rovos Rail, Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, Royal Scotsman, and Golden Eagle Danube Express, to name a few. Prices start at $33,239 per person; in addition to train reservations, the price also includes meals, hotel accommodations, and experiences like safari drives, culinary tours, museum visits, and sunset cruises.

For the ultimate train travel experience, Railbookers will also continue to offer its flagship “Around the World by Luxury Train” itinerary in 2026, which visits 9 countries in 60 days. With all-inclusive packages starting at $125,000, the two-month journey whisks guests on 8 luxury train routes across the globe.

The epic circumnavigation kicks off in Vancouver on September 2, 2026, when passengers will hop aboard the Rocky Mountaineer to Banff, before flying to the UK for journeys along the Royal Scotsman and the new Britannic Explorer. Then it’s off to Italy for a ride on the iconic Venice Simplon-Orient-Express to Istanbul via Paris. After jetting off to Delhi for a six-night adventure on the Maharajas’ Express (making stops at Ranthambore National Park and Fatehpur Sikri), guests will then fly to South Africa, making their way to Victoria Falls and Kruger National Park aboard the illustrious Rovos Rail, before ending the trip in Singapore on the Eastern & Oriental Express.

“Luxury train travel continues to be one of the biggest trends and desires we see among our guests, and we’re delighted to bring back our signature trip along with a newly-expanded lineup of journeys that showcase everything travelers desire on a five-star, luxury jaunt across the globe,” said president and CEO of Railbookers, Frank Marini, in a press release announcing the new routes. “Whether it’s new luxury trains, iconic and unique hotel accommodations and much more, our team has improved upon this already remarkable experience.”

Railbookers’ 2026 itineraries—11 in total—are available to book online, with the option to schedule a private consultation before your purchase. The expanded offerings coincide with the unveiling of Canyon Spirit, the rebranded Rocky Mountaineer rail journey that’s heading to Salt Lake City next year, as well as Spain’s Al Andalus train making a new journey between Seville and Madrid.
