Emma Stone favored movement and minimalism with her streamlined Louis Vuitton look at the “Bugonia” premiere in New York City on Tuesday night.
The two-time Oscar-winning actress turned to creative director Nicolas Ghesquière‘s latest designs for her red carpet attire, wearing a look from the French luxury fashion house’s spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection. Forgoing opulence and drama, Stone’s floor-length dress featured a flowing silhouette and distinct gray lines tactfully exposing the seams of the garment.

Thin straps held the flowing frock up, with a simple sweetheart neckline. Apart from the gray lines, the dress was crafted with a soft, faintly sheer off-white fabric that complemented the gray elements throughout. The dress’ silhouette put movement at the forefront, with a loose fit, while waved pieces of fabric gave the dress some added tension at the bottom of the skirt.
As for accessories, Stone embraced minimalism, wearing the small flora drop earrings and the nebula ring by jewelry designer Arielle Ratner. Stone’s bobbed hair, styled often by Mara Roszak, was slightly pulled back, with sections of her auburn hair to frame her face. Makeup, provided by Nina Park, included bold brows and a glossy lip. Stylist Petra Flannery, who also works with Oscar-winners Reese Witherspoon and Zoe Saldaña, curated Stone’s red carpet look.

Stone’s Louis Vuitton look made its runway debut during Paris Fashion Week in September. Curated by artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière, the spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection emphasized comfort over severe structure.
“’In praise of intimacy, dressing for yourself first,’ Ghesquière told a huddle of rapt reporters backstage. ‘It’s fun to dress up at home, too….The atmosphere I was wishing to share was the serenity you feel when you are in the comfort of your home,’” the designer said, per Miles Socha’s WWD review of the collection.

“What a treat to see a designer synonymous with sci-fi futurism and architectural silhouettes apply himself to cozier fashion territory: coats with teddy-bear textures and bathrobe shapes; fuzzy knit sweaters and drop-crotch shorts, and dresses as simple as togas, or swags of gorgeous fabric,” Socha wrote of the highlights and general air of the curation.
Stone has a close relationship with Louis Vuitton, serving as an ambassador for the maison and a campaign star. The actress recently appeared in the campaign, lensed by Ethan James Green, for the French luxury fashion house’s leather goods photo spread, modeling the Capucines and Side Trunk bags in autumnal tones alongside fellow ambassador Hoyeon.

Stone’s latest collaboration with filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos, “Bugonia,” follows two conspiracy theory-obsessed men, played by Jesse Plemons and Aidan Delbis, who kidnap a high-powered CEO, played by Stone, convinced she is an alien sent to destroy the planet.
