LOAFING AROUND: It’s all change at JW Anderson, which has a new attitude and is focusing on lifestyle, accessories and high-end objects for the home. The brand’s new website features celebrities — including Ben Whishaw and Luca Guadagnino — showing off the fashion or playing around with the furniture and objects.
That celebrity lineup just got bigger with John Malkovich starring in the new JW Anderson Loafer Bag campaign, the first since the brand relaunched earlier this year. The campaign showcases pieces from the JW Anderson resort and spring 2026 collection, and the latest Loafer styles, which are made in Italy from suede and leather.

The campaign marks the first time that Jonathan Anderson and Malkovich have worked together. Anderson is a longtime fan of the actor and star of films including “Dangerous Liaisons,” “Being John Malkovich” and “In the Hand of Dante,” which was directed by Julian Schnabel and released earlier this year.
The campaign was photographed by Heikki Kaski, with styling by Benjamin Bruno and creative direction by Anderson. The backdrop was Stepney Townhouse in East London, an early Georgian property that’s been restored by its private owners.
The collection is on shelves now at JW Anderson stores in London and Milan and on jwanderson.com. As reported, JW Anderson is set to open a third store — a flagship — on London’s Pimlico Road later this year.

Anderson said in an interview in September the brand’s pivot to lifestyle has so far been a success.
“We have been selling everything from chairs to cashmere to jugs to ceramics. We have never done better — ever — in the history of the brand,” Anderson said. “It’s an exciting moment, things are changing, and home has become more important than ever.”
The focus is on one-off objects, limited-edition pieces and — in the designer’s words — a “slow-moving feast” of creativity and ideas. “It’s all my obsessions” in one place, Anderson said, adding, “If we sell something, I want it to be beautifully executed by the right craftsman, by the right person.”
