Jenna Ortega styled American fashion label Amiri‘s lush embellishments and sensual, semi-sheer styling for the 2025 Imagemaker Awards on Thursday night in Bel Air, Calif.
The “Wednesday” star, styled by Enrique Melendez, wore a piece from creative director Mike Amiri’s spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection. The dress, crafted in shades of muted purples and lavenders, featured a bodice with botanical-inspired embroidery intricately and tactfully placed atop the sheer, lacy fabric.

Designed with a plunging neckline and thin straps, the dress featured fabric contrast, with emphasis at the waist, transitioning from the lace and sheer fabric to a firm, thick material with vertical lines. The dress included a thigh-high slit for further sensuality.
Ortega wore metallic silver, platform pumps and accessorized her look with a delicate statement necklace and ring by Effy Jewelry. As for the Dior Beauty ambassador’s glam, Ortega’s hair was styled straight and worn down, with makeup featuring defined eyes and a muted rosy lip.

Mike Amiri’s spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection featured a curation of pieces fit for a “fantasy hotel,” per Joelle Diderich’s WWD review of the collection from Paris Fashion Week in June. “The clothes themselves did not stray from his tried-and-tested mix of lush embellishment and nostalgic Americana — think sequin-flecked polo sweaters, densely embellished bomber jackets, and embroidered workwear staples,” Diderich wrote of the collection.
After working in the music industry as a custom costume designer for various musicians, Amiri founded his eponymous label in 2014. The brand has grown over the last decade, debuting at Paris Fashion Week in 2018 and continuing to showcase seasonal collections each year.

Along with the designs of his seasonal curations, Amiri’s also expanded his business model, investing in ventures to help support and nurture the next generation of designers with the Amiri Prize, which he established in 2021. Originally created to support burgeoning American designers, Amiri expanded the applicant pool to international couturiers in June 2023.
