Touring motorcycles have to wear quite a few hats, but a few things are non-negotiable. They’re supposed to be comfortable, and have enough performance to cruise and overtake on the highway with a pillion and luggage. With the kind of money they command these days, the customer will demand that they be head-turners as well.
These rules apply to any kind of touring motorcycle, and there are a fair few kinds today, from traditional cruiser-style laid back tourers, to sport tourers that can teach a sports bike a thing or two about comfort and pace, and adventure tourers that can keep going no matter the terrain. We’ve combed through all the tourers available today to bring you touring motorcycles that don’t just provide some of the best all-day perches in the business, but also make you look back as you walk away after you park them. These are ten new touring motorcycles that redefine style and comfort in 2025.

Ducati Multistrada V2 S
Price: $19,595
The Multistrada follows the path of the new Panigale V2 – get lighter and extract more performance out of less weight. Ducati has coupled this with the new V2 engine from the Panigale as well, the one with conventional valve springs and variable valve timing. It makes 115 horsepower, which is enough for most situations. The ‘S’ in ‘Multistrada V2 S’ adds electronic suspension that has all the features that its larger sibling offers – it even has the ‘minimum preload’ setting that allows you to get it off the stand a lot easier. The only fly in the ointment is the recently-hiked price that makes it as expensive as a full-size ADV.

Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 ST
Price: $19,999
The Pan America 1250 got a new variant added to the range earlier this year, and this is it – the Pan America 1250 ST. What it does is tweak the standard adventure tourer and make it more tarmac ready with 17-inch alloy rims, sticky tires, a lower single seat, and a shorter windscreen that is smoked. The Pan America always had the powerful 150 horsepower engine, and nothing has changed there. In addition, Harley-Davidson has given North America the optional self-lowering electronic suspension for free!

Ducati Multistrada V4 S
Price: $28,995
The Multistrada V4 has evolved into a refined tourer that isn’t just happy to be an adventure-touring rocket; this Granturismo engine gives it new dimensions that it never had before. It is lighter overall compared to the V-twin engine it replaces, while still offering 170 horsepower. The conventional valves mean that the clearance check needs to be done only every 37,000 miles.
Like the Multistrada V2 S, the electronic suspension in the Multistrada V4 S unlocks a whole new dimension of comfort and convenience, including remote rear preload adjustment. Other quality components include Brembo brakes with a radial front master cylinder and monobloc calipers, and a 5 inch TFT color display.

Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX SE
Price: $29,100
The Ninja H2 SX has everything good about the driveline of the Ninja H2, but marries it to a sport touring bike. It gets more power than you’d usually see with a liter sports bike thanks to the supercharger, making it one of the fastest Kawasaki’s ever. The blower also makes it get a lot more torque than a naturally aspirated engine, which makes it a better tourer. You also get semi-active electronic suspension, blind spot detection, forward collision warning, and even launch control and self-healing paint.

Under the hood, there’s a little more power from the engine, and a six-axis IMU that provides all the safety you’d need.
