On 23 February, we launched HN2026. You will notice a refreshed design immediately. Pages are cleaner, navigation is simpler, and the reading experience is more consistent across devices. But while the new look is the most visible change, HN2026 is ultimately about something bigger: it is the start of a new foundation for Hospitality Net.
We initiated HN2026 with a clear mission. We want to build the technical and editorial foundations that will enable Hospitality Net to grow in an AI-driven era, while strengthening our position as the market-leading, independent B2B platform for hotel professionals.
Why HN2026, and why now
Hospitality has never lacked information. What we increasingly lack is time and clarity.
Professionals are overwhelmed by content streams, fragmented channels, and shifting distribution models. At the same time, AI is changing how knowledge is discovered and consumed. This is not a distant trend. It is already happening. More and more, hospitality content is found through AI-powered search experiences and major large language models.
For our members, this matters in a very practical way. The visibility of your announcements, thought leadership, and expert viewpoints will increasingly depend on how well your content is understood and indexed by these systems. Hospitality Net is already indexed by the leading LLMs, and HN2026 improves the way we structure and publish content so it can be interpreted, attributed, and surfaced more effectively in AI-driven discovery.
This is not about chasing hype. It is about making sure that credible, professional hospitality knowledge remains discoverable, and that our members benefit from the shift rather than being quietly left behind by it.
A refreshed website experience for readers
HN2026 introduces a redesigned interface that makes Hospitality Net simpler to use and easier to read.
We have focused on improving the basics: cleaner layouts, better navigation, and a more consistent experience. The intent is straightforward: to help readers discover content efficiently and follow the topics that matter most to them.
HN2026 is also built to support a faster roadmap. The foundation behind HN2026 will allow us to release new features more frequently and with more confidence, without having to rebuild core parts of the platform each time we want to improve the experience.

A completely rebuilt dashboard for members
HN2026 also brings a full overhaul of our member dashboard, the environment used by organisations and contributors to share content on Hospitality Net.
This is not a cosmetic update but a rebuild from the ground up, focused on workflow, clarity, and speed. The goal is to make it easier for members to submit, manage, and maintain their content presence, while preparing the dashboard for the next generation of tools we plan to introduce.
Over time, HN2026 will give members a stronger foundation for content management, richer data structures, and better support for performance insights and discovery.
A regional and multilingual future
Hospitality is a global industry, but it is also deeply local. That is why HN2026 sets us up to launch regional versions of Hospitality Net in local languages.
We believe regionalisation should be more than translation. It should include local expertise, local context, and local conversations. That is why our rollout will involve local experts and regionalised World Panels, bringing more on-the-ground perspectives into the topics shaping the industry in each market.
A new brand identity built around conversation
Alongside the website refresh, we are unveiling a new visual identity, including a new logo.
The rationale behind our new mark is intentional. The speech bubble, with HN at the centre, represents what Hospitality Net has always been: a place where the industry speaks, shares, challenges, and learns. It signals dialogue and community, reflecting our role as a forum for discussion across the hospitality ecosystem.
This renewed focus on conversation is also reflected in the way we are presenting and organising formats that are built around industry voices. Through our World Panels, HN Originals, and a dedicated Podcast section, we are continuing to expand Hospitality Net as a platform for shared perspectives, practical experience, and informed debate.
This improvement was created in partnership with Equal, a UX/UI and product design studio known for creating digital experiences that help users focus on what matters. You can view our full brand guidelines and access the creative assets here.

A personal milestone
HN2026 represents a true milestone. Hospitality Net saw its first introduction back in 1994. The ambition then was clear: to connect hospitality professionals with independent, high-quality industry information. More than three decades later, that mission has not changed, but the world around us has.
Today is a moment to honour what Hospitality Net has been while making the choices required for what it needs to become. It is a launchpad for many great things to come, for our readers, our members, and the wider global hospitality community.
HN2026 is the result of a collective effort, and I want to thank our team and expert partners for their commitment and support throughout the process. I would like to give special recognition to Davy Schoon, our CTO, who has led the development of HN2026. With more than 25 years at Hospitality Net, Davy’s dedication and drive have been at the centre of this work, and I am genuinely grateful for his leadership and persistence.
Thank you for being part of Hospitality Net, and welcome to HN2026.
