As it does every year, FunAir will have an in-water setup at the Monaco Yacht Show this month. Captains and owners alike can test out the inflatable toys and furnishings to experience first-hand why they’re so popular. In fact, the FunAir Club Chaise Island, premiering at the show, is already in demand aboard one superyacht. The captain tells the company, “It’s become one of the most-requested pieces in our setup.”
While the yacht is a 164-footer (50-meter), smaller and larger yachts can keep the Club Chaise Island onboard, too. As is the case with all FunAir toys, it stows compactly and is light enough to tote to shore in a tender. The captain mentioned above attests to these conveniences. The Club Chaise Island also inflates in minutes, which no double the guests also appreciate.
Three Club Chaise Loungers, each measuring 6’6” x 6’6” x 2’3” (200 x 200 x 70 centimeters) fully inflated, connect to create the island. Although the chairs suit individual use, the combination makes a difference. “The Club Chaise Island has been such a hit with our guests,” the captain continues. “Once it’s in place, guests love being able to relax together.” Additionally, the island suits being used on the sand or in the water, since it floats.
Of course, it also complements a variety of other FunAir inflatable furnishings. They include the Floating Shaded Loungers. According to the company, demand for these pieces has skyrocketed. They’re especially in demand aboard charter yachts, since guests have been seeking more adaptable and stylish ways to group together.
To that end, FunAir is introducing yet another inflatable piece of furniture at the Monaco Yacht Show. The Corner Sofa (top) turns a sandy beach into a waterfront lounge. At the show, you’ll see it with the company’s Inflatable Coffee Table and Parasols (above). Essentially, FunAir intends to show how all yachting visitors can create their own beach club vibe.
