Oscar de la Renta Creative Directors to Exit the Label



Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, the designers behind Oscar de la Renta for the past nine years, are stepping down from the brand, they announced on social media Wednesday. A company spokesperson confirmed the news.

According to a joint Instagram post, Kim and Garcia are stepping away to concentrate on their other label, Monse, co-founded in 2015.” Puck first broke the new Wednesday afternoon.

No successor has been named. Alex Bolen, chief executive of the brand, told Puck’s Lauren Sherman in an interview that there is no rush to appoint the next creative lead, as Kim and Garcia’s last collection will be Fall 2026, unveiled next February.
