Geneva Watch Days 2025 Highlights

As Geneva Watch Days 2025 draws to a close, it’s time to look back at some of our highlights from the fair. This bonus Fratello Talks episode was recorded on location at Piaget’s boutique in Geneva, where the team had the opportunity to experience Geneva Watch Days 2025 and all the novelties presented. Set against the backdrop of one of Switzerland’s most historic watchmaking landmarks, the discussion brings together a diverse selection of timepieces, trends, and commentary from the show. In this episode, Nacho, Lex, and Dave share personal impressions, highlighting the watches that stood out most for them during the fair. But first, it’s time for a wrist check.

Dave is wearing the newly launched Piaget Altiplano Ultimate Concept Tourbillon in green. This model exemplifies Piaget’s mastery in ultra-thin mechanics—its incredibly thin silhouette and tourbillon complication make it a technical standout.

Lex has on his Grand Seiko Tough Quartz SBGX341. Known for its sharp and angular case, white dial with red/orange accents, and the highly accurate 9F61 quartz movement, this watch is one of Lex’s favorite daily wearers. The elevated chapter ring, touches of contrasting colors, and Zaratsu-polished facets contribute to its striking yet dependable character.

Nacho is wearing his 1974 Omega Genève with a distinct TV-style dial. This piece brings a touch of retro flair into the mix, serving as a tangible link to the design experimentation of the 1970s. He’s also happy to be bringing the Genève back to its eponymous hometown.

Fratello Talks: Geneva Watch Days 2025 Highlights

Geneva Watch Days 2025 marked a turning point. With 66 brands participating, the show is larger and more diverse than ever before. The growth gives it the feel of a proper international watch fair, though this sometimes comes at the risk of losing the intimate, casual character that made its earliest editions so distinctive. Still, the atmosphere remained open and engaging, with collectors, media, and industry insiders crossing paths in a way that bigger shows rarely allow.
