Introducing: The H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Tourbillon Concept Ceramic

Believe it or not, H. Moser & Cie. has never made a watch out of ceramic before. Yes, this is the same brand known for its foray into ridiculous materials, including… cheese. But somehow, ceramic was never on the table, save for a bezel insert or two. That changes this week with the brand’s new Streamliner Tourbillon Concept Ceramic. As with the other watches under Moser’s ‘Concept’ series, the dial on the new Streamliner is pared back in an otherwise familiar silhouette. No indices or logo interrupt the intense red fumĂ© grand feu enamel dial, allowing the hammered texture of the underlying white gold base to shine through. A pair of distinctly Moser hands, with three-dimensional Globolight inserts at their tips, sits quite legibly at the center, though legibility might not be a functional priority without any minutes track.
