When Numarine delivered the first 26XP yacht as its entry-level explorer-esque model in 2018, little did it anticipate that 29 more yachts would result from the series. With the new Numarine 27XP yacht series, buyers get a little more length but a lot more flexibility in layout and accommodations.

Reuniting the same design team as the 26XP projects, the Numarine 27XP yacht preserves the family’s shippy looks. She additionally preserves the priority on long-range travel. According to the builder, buyers can anticipate a 2,200-nautical-mile range at 8 knots. The standard 560-hp MAN engines should also allow a cruising speed of 13½ knots and a top speed close to 20 knots. Optional 800-hp MANs should push performance a little higher.

The big changes are in how many people can accompany you, and how you all enjoy your time onboard. Firstly, the Numarine 27XP yacht can include four or five staterooms. With the five-stateroom arrangement, a full-beam master, larger than that of the 26XP, sits below, as do two VIPs (above) and a twin guest stateroom. A VIP also sits forward on the main deck. If you prefer just four staterooms, you, your friends, and your family all have accommodations below decks. The main-deck space becomes the wheelhouse, which goes on the flying bridge in the five-cabin version. Either way, big windows bring each of your destinations a little closer.

Speaking of appreciating the destinations, a few more onboard features do the trick. For instance, Numarine elevates the bow lounge so that everyone enjoying it has unobstructed views. Next, the flying bridge is longer than the one aboard the superyacht’s predecessor, and can remain a fully open space. If you prefer, of course, you can enclose it entirely in glass, which might feel more comfortable should you cruise cooler climates.

Finally, the four-person crew benefit from some of the upgrades as well. Your chef can put on a show thanks to an open galley, and maybe teach a cooking lesson or two. The space is bigger, too, compared to the one on the 26XP. And, as already mentioned, the helm can be enclosed or fully open air.
