The Stockman Trekka 01’s optional gear garage includes a retractable ramp

Traveling with a teardrop trailer no longer means having to leave your toys at home.
Stockman Products has just unveiled an off-road-friendly caravan called the Trekka 01 that includes a dedicated compartment for e-bikes, according to New Atlas. That feature, along with a slew of amenities you don’t normally find in teardrop models, makes this trailer particularly well-suited for your next trail-riding adventure.
The Trekka 01 doesn’t look radically different from the Australian-based operation’s other pod trailers. Thanks to Stockman’s preferred angular and rugged design language, the new dual-axle caravan looks more like a lunar rover than one of Airstream’s iconic silver bullets. There is one main feature that sets the Trekka 01 apart from the rest of the brand’s lineup—its 21.3-foot length. This extra room has been put to good use, too, with the front of the fiberglass vehicle housing an optional gear garage that can fit (and charge) two e-bikes, multiple surfboard, or whatever other toys you want to bring along on your next camping trip. The compartment, which costs $3,500 extra, even features a retractable ramp to making loading and unloading a breeze.

This add-on is far from the Trekka 01’s only noteworthy feature, though. It may only be a teardrop trailer but the model just about everything two people need to spend time away from it all. This includes a seating area, a streamlined kitchenette with an induction cooktop and a fridge, a bathroom with a cassette toilet and shower, a raised sleeping area that fits a queen-size mattress, and a 27-inch TV. That’s an awful lot of features to fit into a trailer of this sizes, but an electric pop-top roof helps insure you and your travel buddy never feel cramped.
If you’re looking at the caravan’s kitchenette and feeling a little underwhelmed, fret not. The Trekka 01 also comes with a separate outdoor gallery. Accessible via a lift-up hatch, this cooking area has more more counter space and a larger induction cooktop. Those who don’t need a gear garage can opt for a 90-liter fridge box, according to the website. Other creature comforts include a Renogy electrical system with a touchscreen command center, air conditioning, and an auto-leveling suspension. That last feature should be particular useful if you plan on overlanding.
