Denver’s Cherry Hills Village is home to many big-name athletes. Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning bought a palatial pad in the prestigious suburb in 2012, then snapped up another in 2023. Fellow NFL great John Elway, New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson, and NBA star Nikola Jokic have also put down roots in the ritzy enclave. You could count some of them as neighbors soon, too: A 2.38-acre estate, nearly as big as Manning’s, just came to market in the community. Patti Helm of Compass holds the $16.59 million listing.
Located in the Cherry Hills Park neighborhood, the spread is anchored by an extravagant 12,000-square-foot-plus mansion with Victorian flair. Built in 2004, the two-story abode is outfitted with five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and a custom chef’s kitchen by American designer and author Mick de Giulio, as well as an indoor putting green and a fitness center with a sauna. On and off the market since 2011, the manse last sold for $4.3 million in 2017 before it was listed in August at the current asking price.

Colorful gardens pop against the brick-paved courtyard at the entrance. Here, several Victorian-style touches, such as dormer windows, large turrets, and a steeply pitched roof, add a touch of grandeur to the facade. Through arched front doors, a classic chandelier floats above the circular foyer. Soaring ceilings add a “wow” factor to the nearby kitchen, where a stone-top island sits between rows of cabinetry and a modern stainless-steel gas range.
A living room with a wood-burning fireplace sits further in beneath a vaulted ceiling. Skylights and two sets of French doors that open out to a patio fill the area with natural light. Elsewhere on the main floor is a formal dining room with seats for 10, a powder room with bonsai-themed wallpaper, and a sumptuous library with wood paneling and built-in bookshelves.

The staircase or elevator will take you above or below. The primary suite sprawls out on the upper level, offering a private balcony, dual custom closets, and an en suite with a steam shower. Back downstairs, the basement is home to a fitness center with a sauna, a captivating wine display, and a man cave where owners can practice putting. More serious golfing can be carried out at the nearby Cherry Hills Country Club, where PGA championship events were held in 1941 and ’85.
The manicured backyard features multiple sitting areas, a fire pit, and an expansive bocce ball court.

Outdoors, a covered patio with a fireplace and a hot tub will be perfect for entertaining at dusk. A stone pathway leads further out into the backyard, where a lounge with a fire pit overlooks a bocce ball court. Sounds like the perfect place to host friends or noteworthy neighbors like Manning.
